We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating and costing the materials, labor, and equipment required for our construction projects. You will be working closely with our project managers and engineers to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met
Responsibilities
Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
Prepare and submit detailed project estimates and budgets
dentify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.
Review project progress reports and cost reports to identify potential cost overruns and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and MEP estimating.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.
Familiarity with construction industry regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
